Business Problems
SAP SD area faced a major issue was reported where barcode on delivery layout was showing actual shipment quantity even for part shipments. So the customer was receiving less products than actually mentioned in the delivery document.
Project Plan
- Our SAP SD consultants made the discovery to find the problem in the system. They checked the configurations. After their initial findings, we onboarded our SAP ABAP consultants to correct the logic behind it.
- Logic for calculating actual quantity getting shipped is changed using SAP ABAP and checks put in place to fetch correct quantity of part of order getting shipped.
- The testing team then did a few dry runs and made sure that the part shipments are being recorded properly. They did both positive & negative testing to make sure the right end to end process.
